Fourth quarter sales (Oct. 2009 - Dec. 2009) show continued decline. Compared with 2006 fourth quarter sales, number of sales in 2009 are down 58 percent. Gross sales in the last year are down 26 percent.

Before looking at current listings it is good to review sales data for previous years. Currently, I have eleven years, 1998 - 2008, of data. For review we will look at this data at these intervals, 1998, 2003, and 2008. - Also, having eleven individual chart lines would look like an abstract painting.

It is sometimes better to keep your mouth closed and let another voice speak. In today’s New York Times website they did an article Havens/Amherst: Virginia In the Shadow of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Again, this shows that we have a GREAT quality-of-life at a good price.
